Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has expressed confidence in the Black Stars team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

He said the Senior National Team is not scared to face any team in the tournament.

“Today, we are very confident that the intangible assets that we have produced over time, the intangible assets that have been put together by coach (Otto Addo) and his team, will make Ghana proud”. The GFA President said this during the launch of the Fundraising Campaign for the Black Stars at the Kempinski Hotel on Friday, March 20, 2026..

Adding that Ghana is going to the global tournament with boldness.

“We will go into this tournament with our chests up, ready to fight for the strip and ready to change our story. We fear no for and, believe me, Ghana football will speak.” Okraku stated..

Ghana has been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
