Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan said he just wants the Black Stars to qualify from the group stage in the FIFA World Cup.

He said Ghana qualifying from the group stage to go to the next stage of the competition is very crucial because playing with England is going to be a very good game.

Ghana will play against Panama, England and Croatia in Group L.

The Black Stars will face England on June 23.

Speaking in New York during the unveiling of Ghana’s World Cup Jersey by Puma, Ghana’s all-time leading scorer at the FIFA World Cup said he remains confident the Black Stars can progress to the next stage of the tournament.

“Playing with England is very good and people are optimistic about that game. I just want Ghana to qualify from the group stage.’ Baby jet stated.
