The Paramount Chief of the Asante Akyem Agogo Traditional Area, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong has died at 88.

According to Adomonline.com, Nana Akuoko who ascended the Agogo stool on December 23, 1975 passed away following health problems.

Nana Akuoko Sarpong served as a member of the Council of State in the Fourth Republic.
