Evangelist Papa Shee has announced that the family of the late High life legend, Charles Kwado Fosu also known as Daddy Lumba will hold a second funeral for him.

He said the second funeral is dubbed “celebration of the life of Daddy Lumba.”

According to him the event will be held on 28th and 29th March in Accra.

He said Akosua Serwaa, the wife of the late Daddy Lumba will be present at the celebration of life event.

“Yes, if you ask me about Daddy Lumba’s funeral, I will say the family is prepared for his second funeral.”

“The only difference is that the venue has changed from Kumasi to Accra and the date will be 28th and 29th March. And the good news is that this time around our mother Akosua Serwaa will be present.” He said.

Adding that Daddy Lumba played a crucial role in Ghana music so he deserves better celebration.

“Daddy Lumba was a great man, he deserves better. We are inviting everyone to come for the celebration of the life of the great musician.”

The outspoken Evangelist also expressed his appreciation to supporters of Madam Akosua Serwaa who welcomed her at the Kotoka Interbational Airport during her recet visit to Ghana.

Papa Shee also debunked claims that Akosua Serwaa hired people to welcome her.

“It is not true that we hired people to welcome our mother Akosua Serwaa. The people showed her true love and we appreciate them for everything they did to welcome her.”
