Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the government to complete the agenda 111 hospital projects.

Agenda 111 hospital projects which were initiated under the former President’s administration were aimed at bridging the gaps in access to medical care.

The project was designed to construct 111 hospitals across the country to improve health care delivery.

According to Nana Addo, completion and operationalisation of the project is important.

Adding that healthcare must not be politicised.

The former President made this call during the launch of the centenary celebrations of the Kyebi Government Hospital.

The centenary launch was organised by the Akyem Kyebi Government Hospital Authority in collaboration with the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council.

The launch also served as a fundraising platform to support infrastructure development at the facility.

The former President said healthcare is essential and must be embraced by everyone so the government must not leave the project uncompleted.
