Social media users have reacted to a video of a woman who set fire to the Founder and Leader of Alpha Hour Pastor Elvis Agyemang church auditorium in Accra.
On Monday 9th February 2025, a lady was apprehended after she allegedly attempted to set fire to the Grace Mountain Chapel auditorium in Accra.
The timely intervention of the church’s security team prevented the incident from escalating.
The suspect was handed to the police for further investigation.

“It’s very interesting how people are saying we need to hear her side of the story. You don’t know how hate runs deep in people’s heart. People literally hate God and everything that concerns him. I have witness a lot of things like this in church.”
“You are a fool beyond redemption if u believe this video, these pastors are fraudsters.. they play on the emotions and gullibility of their followers and this is an example.. wtf is this”
“If CCTVs were installed in most places, we would realise that most of these rampant fires in the country are the result of arson. Cuz, if there was no camera around. We would have speculated and blamed a gas or wiring fault.”
“Maame ye agyimi (s3bi). Like how can you pour the petrol in your hands to sprinkle and also stand right at the place you sprinkle to light the matches. They should have quenched the fire in the room and allowed her to burn small.”
“Pastor planted his power ( idol) in the altar from the way he’s speaking. If it was all about the name of Jesus, he wouldn’t be sanctifying an alter as if Jesus resides in it.”
