Former England international, Bamidele Jermain, popularly known as Dele Alli has returned to training at Tottenham Hotspur facilities in north London as he works toward regaining fitness and securing a new club after leaving Italian side Como 1907.
The 29-year-old midfielder, currently a free agent, has been granted permission by Tottenham to use the club’s training complex while he continues his individual fitness program in a bid to revive his professional career.
Alli parted ways with Como in September 2025 after a brief and challenging spell in Italy, which saw him make limited appearances for the club. Since then, the former England midfielder has been searching for an opportunity to return to competitive football.
Tottenham’s decision to allow him to train at the club highlights the strong relationship between the player and the North London side, where he enjoyed the most successful period of his career.
Alli joined Tottenham in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in English football. During his time with the club, he scored 67 goals and provided 59 assists in 269 appearances across all competitions.
His impressive performances also earned him back-to-back Young Player of the Year awards from the Professional Footballers’ Association and helped cement his reputation as one of the most promising midfielders of his generation.
However, injuries and limited playing opportunities in recent seasons slowed his progress and affected his career trajectory.
By training at Tottenham’s facilities, Alli hopes to rebuild his fitness levels and attract interest from clubs as he works toward making a return to competitive football.
The midfielder previously represented England national football team and remains determined to rediscover the form that once made him one of the standout players in the Premier League.
