The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency in the Savannah Region, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has called on Ghanaians to take advantage of the ongoing free membership registration exercise being organized by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to her, the exercise, which began on February 10 and is expected to end on March 30, 2026, is being conducted at NDC offices across the country and also through party members at the community level to ensure that more citizens have the opportunity to join the party.
Hon. Ibrahimah explained that the free registration initiative forms part of efforts by the party to expand its membership base and strengthen its grassroots structures to effectively champion development across the country.
She noted that a stronger and more united party would help advance policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians, particularly in critical sectors such as agriculture, health, energy, infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and human resource development.
The Salaga South MP therefore encouraged party supporters and sympathizers to actively participate in the exercise and also assist in mobilizing more people within their communities to register.
Hon. Ibrahimah further appealed to party members to take the campaign to the doorsteps of every Ghanaian by engaging families, friends, and community members on the importance of joining the NDC and contributing to the party’s vision for national development.
She emphasized that the registration drive aligns with the NDC’s “Reset Ghana” agenda, which she said focuses on rebuilding the country’s economy, restoring confidence in governance, and improving the living conditions of citizens.
According to her, early signs of economic improvement, including what she described as reduced inflation and the gradual decline in the prices of some goods and services, demonstrate the positive direction the country is taking under the party’s leadership vision.
Hon. Ibrahimah also expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for their continued trust and support for the NDC over the years, noting that the party remains committed to delivering policies and programmes that will create opportunities for all citizens.
She assured the public that the NDC is determined to leave a better legacy for the country by promoting inclusive development, strengthening institutions, and empowering the youth to contribute meaningfully to national progress.
