In an interview with our reporter, the Aworowa District Elder, Elder Anane Kwabena, revealed plans to expand a water project at the mission house to benefit not only residents of the mission, but also the people of Aworowa and Techiman at large.

According to him, the District plans to establish a water treatment and packaging plant to serve Aworowa and its surrounding communities, noting that the initiative is expected to create employment opportunities and contribute to reducing unemployment in Techiman North and Ghana as a whole.

“The district intends to establish a water treatment and packaging plant to serve the people of Aworowa and its surrounding communities. We believe that, when completed, this project will serve as a source of employment for many people within the community and help reduce the unemployment rate in Techiman North and Ghana as a whole.”

Elder Anane Kwabena further disclosed that, leadership of the Aworowa District estimates a total cost of GHC 2,000,000.00 to bring the project to reality and therefore appealed to members of the church and other well-meaning individuals to support the initiative through donations.

Beyond development, the anniversary celebration also focused on spiritual growth, as the Aworowa District Pastor, Atta Isaac Lawrence called on members across the district’s ten congregations to remain steadfast in their faith.

“We have ten congregations in the district, and my message to all members is to hold firmly to our beliefs and worship God in truth and in spirit.”
He further urged members to renew their faith in God and commit to winning more souls for His glory.

The 10th anniversary celebration not only marked a decade of the district’s existence but also served as a platform to reaffirm its commitment to both spiritual development and community transformation.
