The Techiman Branch Pastor of Harvester Evangelistic Ministry, Pastor Daniel Kyeremeh, has urged Christians to demonstrate genuine brotherly love in their daily interactions, disclosing that love remains the foundation of the Christian faith.

According to him, every individual needs support at some point in life, hence the need for believers to live in unity, show compassion, and extend kindness to one another regardless of differences.

Pastor Kyeremeh explained that the absence of love among Christians weakens their spiritual growth and may hinder their prayers, stressing that God values love as a core requirement for true worship.

He made the call while delivering a sermon to his congregation, at the church auditorium at Pomaakrom in Techiman in the Bono East Region.

Quoting from First Epistle to the Corinthians 13:1–2, he stated that even if a person possesses spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues but lacks love, such efforts become meaningless before God.

“Without love, all our spiritual works and sacrifices lose their value. Love is what gives meaning to our faith and connects us to God and to one another.”

The pastor further urged Christians to avoid hatred, envy, and division, noting that such attitudes destroy relationships and weaken the unity of the church.

“We must learn to forgive one another, support each other in difficult times, and celebrate each other’s success. That is what true brotherly love represents.”

Pastor Kyeremeh also encouraged the congregation to extend love beyond the church by reaching out to the needy, the vulnerable, and those facing hardships in society, indicating that practical acts of kindness are essential in promoting peaceful coexistence.

He noted that a loving and united Christian community serves as a positive example to the wider society and contributes significantly to social harmony and development.

The sermon formed part of the church’s ongoing spiritual teachings aimed at strengthening moral values, deepening faith, and fostering unity among members.
