Gospel musician, Esther Smith has advised Ghanaian media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso also known as Delay not to rush into marriage.
She said marriage can be an obstacle for a person to achieve his or her dream and so Delay should not bow to the pressure from the public.
Recounting her ordeal, Esther Smith stated that her vision was dimmed because of marriage.
Adding that her plans were far from marriage before her father had a conversation with her concerning marriage but things were not the same after she got married to Rev. Ahinkan Bonsu and they later divorced.
Speaking on Delay Show, the ‘Ma Won Nsan’ singer said “Don’t let anybody put pressure on you to go into marriage”
Esther Smith believes marriage is something that fights prominent women soif you are not focused, your chances in life can be shattered.
She added that marriage is not the only option for someone to get a child, citing adoption, Esther Smith mentioned that “Even if you are not married, you can adopt a child. Don’t marry for someone to play with your heart”
