The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong has described her sleepy eyes comments as a laughter.

According to Madam Sarpong, it doesn’t bother her if people keep saying she is always sleeping.

In a video shared on X, CFO Sarpong clarified that God created her like that and so if anybody wants to talk about her demeanour it is their own cup of tea.

Adding that she has thought of using both hands to open the eyes when walking.

“I laugh when I hear that…They said I am always sleeping even when I am sitting. I am planning to hold my eyes open when I am walking.” She stated.

Madam Sarpong stressed that despite her demeanour, she is not wearing eyeglasses to prove the work of God.

“That is how God created me. The funny thing is that my directors used to tell me, “Madam, your eyes are small but you don’t wear eyeglasses but some of us who have big eyes are wearing eyeglasses and I said that is the work of God.” She stated.

The Chief Fire Officer maintained that she is excited that she can see everything with her small eyes.

“Because that is how God has created me. So if your perception is that I am sleeping, take it like that just to please yourself. It doesn’t bother me because that is how my eyes are. I can’t open my eyes big but I can see everything so why do I have to bother?”
