We Ghanaians have always expected so much from people we vote into power and those who get appointed into higher offices without worrying about their psychological wellbeing.

We forget that from the president to the last appointee are all human beings like us.

They are controlled by emotions, which can be triggered by positive news or negative news and which in turn can lead to a positive reaction or negative reaction.

Being of sound mind can be temporal as well as temporal insanity.

We can become temporally insane based on what we hear, feel or experience at a particular moment.
The question is if our leaders find themselves in a psychological crisis at a point in time, who attends to them?

Who is comforting John Mahama after the Lincoln University incident?

This is the conversation we need to have as a country instead of the usual blame game between the NPP and the NDC.

We the CPP are therefore appealing that henceforth all elected and appointed officials of the state should have personal psychologist who must attend to them at least 4 times a month.

We believe that leader of sound mind will be in a position to deliver good policies and solutions for the forward march of his or her country.
*Forward Ever*
Signed
Osei Kofi Acquah
National Communications Director of the CPP
