Abdul Karim Zito has officially resigned from his role as Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach.
His resignation comes as the Ghana Premier League giants is rank fifth in the league.
“Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey has resigned from his role as the head coach of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club with immediate effect.” Kotoko announced.
Asante Kotoko management expressed their appreciation to the coach for his service and wished him better luck in the future.
“Management has accepted the resignation, expressed its appreciation to the coach for his services and wished him the best for the future.”
“The new technical direction of the club will be communicated in due course.”
Meanwhile, Kotoko is preparing to play against their rival Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, February 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
