At least 108 people have died in Kenya following weeks of heavy rains and flooding.

The National Police Service on Saturday said the rains and flash floods which started from March 6 have caused several destruction in the country.

The country’s power infrastructure has been damaged and over 2, 700 families have been displaced across the Eastern African nation.

Police say flooding may continue due to overflowing drainage systems.
