The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has presented three motorbikes to the Constituency Election Directorate to facilitate the ongoing reorganization of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) within the area.

The donation was made on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the NDC Constituency Office in Salaga. The gesture forms part of the MP’s broader efforts to reinforce party structures and improve operational effectiveness at the grassroots. The motorbikes are expected to enhance the mobility of Directorate officials, strengthen coordination, and support supervision and monitoring activities across communities in the constituency.

Addressing party executives and members at the brief ceremony, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah underscored the need for a strong and well-coordinated party machinery to secure electoral victory. She pointed out that access to dependable transportation is essential, especially in constituencies where communities are scattered over long distances. She explained that the support is intended to enable the Election Directorate to efficiently carry out its responsibilities as the party reorganizes and strategizes ahead of future elections.

She also reiterated her commitment to the growth of the party and urged members to remain united and resolute in building solid internal structures that would position the NDC for success in subsequent polls.

Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the Directorate, the Constituency Election Director, Mr. Tanko Yakubu, expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament for her sustained support toward the Directorate’s work. He assured that the motorbikes would be put to good use to advance the party’s reorganization agenda.

Other recipients of the donation were Mr. Mustapha Tawfic and Alhaji Dramani Abudu. Among dignitaries present were the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz; the Special Advisor to the MP, Ing. Abdul Nasser Adam; together with other constituency executives and staff of the Office of the Member of Parliament.

Party officials, including the Constituency Chairman, described the donation as timely and significant, noting that it would greatly improve the operational capacity of the Election Directorate.
