The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has contributed a total of GHC 21,100 to four branches of the Gonjaland Youth Association within the East Gonja Municipality to facilitate their participation in the Association’s upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The financial support was delivered on behalf of the MP by Chief Kijipuwura Mohammed Achilo, widely known as Mr. Sabingo, in the company of Mr. Awari Lawal and Mr. Danian Megari.
Addressing beneficiaries during the presentation, Mr. Awari Lawal indicated that the amount would be distributed among the four branches as follows: Kpembe Local Branch will receive GHC 6,100, while Kafaba, Makango, and Kulaw/Lor Ekun Local Branches will each receive GHC 5,000.
He further revealed that, In Sha Allah, the MP is expected to be in Buipe to lend her support and participate in activities marking the anniversary celebration.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Abudu Hudu, Chairman of the Gonjaland Youth Association, Kpembe Local Branch, expressed profound gratitude to the MP for her continued generosity and commitment to youth development. He also offered prayers for her well-being and success in her service to the constituency.
This year’s Congress of the Gonjaland Youth Association will coincide with its 50th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled to take place in Buipe, located in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region, from Thursday, April 2 to Sunday, April 5, 2026.
The event will be held under the theme: “Five Decades of Progress: Empowering the Gonjaland Youth for the Future.”
Delegates from the East Gonja Municipality are expected to depart tomorrow to participate in the four-day celebration
