Samara Company Limited has partnered with the Techiman Traditional Council to organize a free dental health screening exercise for residents as part of activities marking the 2026 Appor Festival.

The exercise is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the forecourt of the palace of the Paramount Chief of Techiman, Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV. The initiative also forms part of celebrations of this year’s World Oral Health Day, aimed at promoting oral hygiene and preventive dental care among the public.

The Sales and Marketing Manager for Samara Company Limited, Dennis Kwame Osei, who spoke with our reporter during today’s free dental health screening at Tanoso Health Center, disclosed that the program will provide free dental screening and oral health education to participants, with additional items to be distributed to support good oral hygiene practices.

“I would like to encourage all and sundry to visit us at the forecourt of Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV’s Palace on Friday, 20th March, 2026, for free dental screening and oral hygiene education. Aside from the screening, there will also be free items distributed to participants.”

He further explained that the collaboration with the traditional council underscores a shared commitment to improving community health and wellbeing during the festive period.

“As part of World Oral Health Day celebrations, the Techiman Traditional Council has collaborated with us to provide free dental screening for the people of Techiman during the Appor Festival. We are fully prepared to make this initiative a success and encourage everyone to take part in the exercise.”

Management of Samara Company Limited are optimistic that the exercise will attract a large number of residents and help increase awareness on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene through regular dental check-ups.
