The Techiman North District Assembly has honored outstanding revenue collectors for their dedication and contribution to revenue mobilization during the 2025 fiscal year.
The recognition took place during the Assembly’s Revenue Performance Awards Ceremony held on Monday, March 10, 2026, as part of efforts to motivate staff and strengthen the district’s internally generated funds.
The event formed part of the Assembly’s ongoing Revenue Improvement Plan and provided a platform to review revenue performance, assess progress made in 2025, and encourage greater efficiency in revenue collection across the district.
During the ceremony, detailed performance reports were presented, highlighting the individual contributions of revenue collectors who have demonstrated commitment and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities.
Addressing the gathering, the District Chief Executive for the Techiman North District Assembly, Adom K. Johnson, expressed pride in the dedication shown by the revenue team and commended them for their efforts in supporting the financial stability of the district.
He noted that effective revenue mobilization remains a critical pillar in driving development at the local level and urged staff to maintain their commitment to duty.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, two revenue officers were honored for their remarkable service to the Assembly.
Mr. Kwame Naabatafaa received the award for Best Permanent Revenue Collector, while Madam Fosua Elizabeth was honored as the Best Commission Revenue Collector.
Both awardees were presented with citations and prizes in acknowledgement of their hard work, integrity, and commitment to improving revenue collection within the district.
The ceremony was marked by a strong sense of unity and motivation among revenue staff, who expressed appreciation for the recognition and pledged to work harder to improve revenue performance in the years ahead.
Participants indicated that the initiative would help boost morale, promote healthy competition, and strengthen accountability among revenue collectors.
Hon. Johnson further emphasized that increased revenue generation would enable the Assembly to deliver improved infrastructure, social services, and development projects for residents in the district.
He therefore encouraged all revenue officers to continue working collaboratively to expand the district’s internally generated funds and support the Assembly’s development agenda.
The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to recognizing excellence, promoting transparency in revenue mobilization, and creating systems that inspire productivity among its staff.
