Level 200 students pursuing BA Social Studies Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Techiman Study Centre have donated a refrigerator and five mini packs of bottled water to support the management and staff of the center.
The presentation was made as a gesture of appreciation by the students for the guidance and support they have received throughout their academic journey at the study center.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Kwame Baffoe said the donation was a token of gratitude to the management and staff for their dedication and commitment to ensuring that students receive the necessary academic support.
He noted that the lecturers and administrative staff have consistently provided mentorship, guidance, and an enabling learning environment that has helped students to pursue their studies with confidence.
According to him, the donation was intended to contribute, even in a small way, to improving facilities at the study center and strengthening the relationship between students and the management.
Receiving the items on behalf of the center, the Study Centre Manager, Nana Obiri Korang Antwi Boasiako, expressed appreciation to the students for the thoughtful gesture.
He described the donation as commendable and said it reflects the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect between students and the administration of the center.
Nana Obiri Korang Antwi Boasiako encouraged the students to remain focused and committed to their studies, emphasizing that discipline, hard work, and dedication are key to achieving academic success.
He further urged them to continue supporting initiatives that promote the development of the study center and strengthen the academic community.
The donation formed part of efforts by the students to give back to the institution that is supporting their academic and professional development.
