Ghanaian Media Personality Nana Aba Anamoah has criticised the government for raising funds for Black Stars while people are dying due to lack of basic equipment.

She believes raising funds for the “uninspiring” senior national team while some hospitals don’t have beds and other equipment for health care delivery is a mispriority.

According to her, the Black Stars is not delivering to the expectations of the Ghanaian people so it is important for the government to focus on critical needs to save lives.

“People are dying in our hospitals because there’s no access to basic equipment. Yet you’re out here raising funds for a listless, uninspiring, poorly led and badly managed Black Stars.” Nana Aba Anamoah wrote.

Her comment comes after the Black Stars suffered a 5-1 defeat to Austria ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
